moleskine poster child

There’s been another cat girl sighting!

This week, Decor Addict had a random post featuring 5 artworks done on moleskines. And yup, our own sweet child is one of them! Check out the post here.

A bit on moleskines. Moleskine (mol-a-skeen’-a) journals are pretty hot items, it seems. They’re a favorite with a whole lot of artists, musicians, designers, writers,  and even folks of other professions. Designed in Italy, they come in a variety of papers, styles, and sizes, and (best of all, I think) can be opened flat because of the sewn binding. Now that would be a great sketchbook; no rings, no pages falling out, no closing shut every time you sharpen your pencils. I’d like to get one…if I could ever decide on what type. Maybe the pocket sketch in red. Then again, maybe the large sketch in black. Any moleskine users out there with a favorite to recommend?

Check out this site for the interesting history of moleskines, as well as all you ever wanted to know about moleskines…and more.
