On Saturday we headed to Denver…to the Firefighters Museum!
This building was Denver’s very first firehouse, Station #1. It hails from 1909 and housed Engine Company #1.
The firemen of Station #1 traveled by horse-drawn carriage, which to me is fascinating. To them, I’m sure it wasn’t quite so romantic.
