green gobblin’

A bit of culinary creativity has been at work!

It all began with a sprint to the garden to gather a bowlful of fresh herbs…

…followed by a big handful of kale, a couple of carrots, a few chunks of zucchini, ginger root, celery, a tomato,  and some sweet-hot peppers, (the last also from the garden).

Add a big clove of garlic, a dash of chili pepper, some flax meal, sea salt, a heaping spoonful of coconut oil, and all the spices in the cupboard (well, not quite all:)

Pop it all in the Vita-mix and blend baby blend till hot, steamy and delish.

The result? Something straight out of the Garden of Eden!

I made 2 mugs, one for me and one for David, of COURSE….but do you think he even tried his?

Not a sip.

But Zia…

was much braver.

Finger-lickin’ good!

Hot, spicy, thick, creamy, bursting with green goodness.

 Mmmmmmmmmm.
