senor murphy’s candy

We walked to the shops in downtown Santa Fe and stopped at Senor Murphy’s famous candy shop. We all got something–even me, who never ever eats candy. If you are going to eat candy, Senor Murphy’s is the place to go.

From the top, a thrilled Chub with a chocolate-covered cherry, Caleb with a candy apple, David with a chocolate tortuga, Zia with bubble gum (she is sure it’s the best thing in the shop), me with almond toffee and a coconut cluster, and Cash, about to stop admiring his cherry and start eating (or should I say slurping and dripping).

Caleb also bought a piece of toffee which we all tore into like sharks–and I forgot to get a picture.

yum, I think Cash had the right idea. Mmmm, cherries are good any way they come. Be well.

Oh my… I love little places like these (with their specialty items)… particularly candy shops. When we go to Banff, we always got to the candy shop. There are so many special treats in there! Sounds like got a special delicacy!

    Wishing you a lovely weekend.
