4-H fair girl and ski slope boy
This weekend we went to the Boulder County 4-H Fair. Caleb wanted to go skiing, so we dropped him off at Eldora and went on to the fair with a very excited little girl.
It was a fun little indoor fair, run by kids and their families. They had a nice mix of livestock, games, fair food, a bit of entertainment, and kid prizes galore.
Zia loves tattoos, face painting, and animal balloons. She got them all!

She asked for a blue and white horse balloon
and a baseball and bat tattoo. My girl is half princess, half tomboy. She just wants the best of both worlds.

She also got picked to help the balloon man with his magic tricks. Which she was great at, and when she finished, she even gave a bow.
The egg is from the chicken in the cage…it was brand spankin’ new and still warm.
This duck had a funny little pose when she got petted.
The fishing game was her favorite. She bounced in the bouncy castle, did the marble run, a ball toss, the “duck swing”, and several more games. She came home with a bag of prizes.
She was also the cutest little archer in the county.
Meanwhile, Caleb was hitting the slopes.
He went strong all day, and was lean, sweaty, and stinky by the time we picked him up.
And hungry!
Time to grill some burgers…so pile in the jeep and let’s head home sweet home.
You’re doin’ good,babe……Zia and Caleb are SO good looking – what a great upbringing they’re getting! David sounds so good on the phone- I told him how busy I’ve been with “serious” catch- up cleaning, and I’m really getting into it….you’d be proud of me! haha Mama

ITS BEEN AWHILE SINCE IVE SEEN CALEBON THE BLOG. GOOD TO SEE HIM ENJOYING HIS SKIING. IT WAS AWESOME TO SPEND TIME WITH HIM WHILE HE WAS HERE. ZIAS HAIR IS GROWING IT LOOKS GOOD. THEY MAKE AN INTERESTING PAIR. GRANNY
