happy thanksgiving from the mountains

Snug as bugs in a rug, we’re having a perfect Thanksgiving tucked away here in the mountains. Although it’s a holiday, David had to work (from home), so Zia and I took a walk in the sunshine, where the cold almost melts away in the warm brightness.

Even in the bright sunshine, though, the wind can be really wild here…so it’s good to be bundled up. New hat and mittens are great for keeping little hands, head, and toy kitty warm, too.

We are especially delighted with this earflap contraption, the latest knitted masterpiece (ha). Zia and I take turns wearing it, since we both love it so much.

Near and far, in the warm or the cold, hope you’re cozy, safe, and full of thankfulness.

Happy Thanksgiving!
