moose tracks (not the ice cream kind)
I found these tracks coming up through our snowy property and out onto the dirt road. I wasn’t sure what they were at first…elk? But elk don’t have the two points that come down behind the hoof. Then we found a match online…moose!
A moose went traipsing by our house, probably at night. I can just picture that giant, rangy thing picking its way down the hill through the snow in the dark.
Next time…lion tracks! Hopefully.
