makings of winter

Posted on December 24th, 2012 by mountain girl  |  5 Comments »

We’ve jumped into winter with a fresh load of snow, snow angels, a gingerbread house (thanks, Jodi), paper snowflakes, a mamma/girl-made stocking, and a little secret sewing.  Caleb left Saturday to visit his mom for the holidays.  Our Christmas celebrations here are sparse and simple, but I really just want a string of happy days, especially for one lonesome little redhead who wanders aimlessly without a big brother to pick on.  We have a little overnight trip planned for Christmas Eve which should be lots of fun…more on that later.

Hope you have a warm, safe, and happy holiday!
