denver children’s museum

She absolutely loved this place. The one area I didn’t get pictures of was incomparably her very favorite of all: a room of burrows and a great tree and giant stuffed acorns, seeds, and other crunchy things.  There was also a good supply of squirrel, rabbit, mole, caterpillar, and bird costumes, and lots of furry little stuffed animals to carry into the burrows and nests. Zia could have been there all night; in fact, I think that whole room full of kids would have gladly moved in to stay and live a creaturely underground existence.

    Mia,
You would have LOVED posing in a fireman’s outfit and it could be you – back in the 70’s! She’s so very cute! I bet you’d still like to run around in a fireman’s garb. ha. Mama

Yeah…I wish they had an outfit my size! I’d have donned it in a minute.
