new bag

Meet my new bag.  The old one was worn and torn beyond repair, so it was definitely time for something new.

I had the perfect bag sketched out in my mind: one with a bit of volume – not just a front and back, but a bottom, too – one large enough for my water bottle, my wallet (it’s a fat one), a book, and my knitting.

It also needed a magnetic snap

and a small inside pocket.

Furthermore, it must be Japanese-y.

Voila.

Thanks to my trusty sewing machine, the bag was done in a few quickly stolen sittings.

And thanks to Caleb for taking the pictures.

Photos of moi may not be such a rare occurrence with a photographer in the house.

Especially one who snaps when you least expect it.
